On this episode of Breaking Trail, witness the EPIC conclusion of Coyote Peterson being bitten by a Giant Desert Centipede!

*Hint…we had to use venom extraction in this one!

This is it Coyote Pack, the culmination of Coyote Peterson’s bite experiments has lead him to this ultimate creepy crawly finale…taking a chomp from what is said to be the most painful bite of any creature in North America!

Long rumored to be even more painful than the bite of a rattlesnake, Coyote will find out “first hand” the effects of a Giant Desert Centipede bite all in the name of science to document this extreme wildlife experience.

Will this enormous Centipede live up to the tales that are told throughout deserts of the Southwestern Untied States?

Get ready to find out!

*PLEASE never attempt to recreate what is seen in this video. Centipede bites can be very serious if left untreated.

You are one of my favorite youtubers and its crazy what you do to show us what happens, like whne a kid is like "hey what happens if i stick my hand in this big mound with red ants?" You answer with your video of you sticking your hands in fire ants.

  4. Piotr Frąckowiak on October 15, 2021 at 8:46 am

The extractor is being used the wrong way here, please do not attempt this on yourself. You FIRST lock the handle in place, then place it on the wound and then use the pump multiple times. Best regards

In the Caribbean we have tons of these. I’ve jumped out a moving jeep on a dirt road doing 25mph going spear fishing. And was getting my fin sock from inside out and one just curled out touched my finger and I tossed sock and jumped out.
Never been bitten and never plan on it. Ever!!!!

  11. Rachel Hollier on October 15, 2021 at 8:57 am

I’ve also been bitten by a centipede in the Caribbean. It’s no joke and he isn’t exaggerating. I had to be taken to the ER. I was given a huge shot of benadryl and 3 norcos. They told me it’s one of the worst bites in the world.

When coyote says that the pain almost got him into tears I can’t imagine how a kid would react to the pain because sometimes kids cry a little more easily than adults.

I live in southern Baja, I have removed 20 of these creatures from inside my house over a 13-year period. I just moved back, we have two inc gaps under the front and back door. I was arguing with the wife about putting the net over the bed. After seeing this video I’m definitely putting up the net over the bed early tomorrow morning. Thank you for your hard work Mr coyote.

I knew centepedes are venomous. But didn’t know they are such venomous.
Looks like my insticts always saying to kill or run when I see a centepede, are not wrong.
