I see this was made in 2012. My mom had a massive ischemic stroke. She is paralyzed on the right side of body. She has no control over bladder or bowels. Her speech is very impaired. She is in a nursing facility. The stroke happened on November 14 2017. In September 2017 she went through a similar episode. The neurologist said she didn’t have a stroke? He leaned towards a seizure? But now this! Both times supposedly she was gave this T-PA. Both times she was life flighted to St Johns Hospital in Tulsa. We live in rural SE Oklahoma. So on November 14th 2017 the neurologist told me, she had a clot in her brain. He said it’s in a part of the brain he can’t get to? I do not understand anything that’s going on! She was diagnosed with A-Fib irregular heartbeat a long while back. When I expressed concern, her primary Doctor told me, people can live for years with an irregular heartbeat? I’m at a loss. Can anyone shed some light on this situation. My opinion is the so called ball was dropped several times on my mom’s expense. Help needed.

when I went to the hospital for a stroke I learned unless you’re having a large vessel stroke there’s really nothing they can do – but send you a bill 😉

I found it very helpful and informative. Do watch it!

I would prefer that the speaker provide a Q&A session after the lecture, rather than allow questioners to constantly interrup.
