I do like the format. It was easy to listen to and I got 100%. There is always more info you could have added. If your goal was to be sure a patient gets help within the window, you did it.

My maternal grandfather is currently a stroke patient..he has weakness in his right arm since 3months now with only slight improvement…being a final year medical student I can also recognize the huge emotional component attached to it…Stroke is as much a affects mind as it does to your body!…With his stubbornness and the positivity I do feel he will recover! 😀
P.s MRI IS A BETTER INVESTIGATION TO EVALUATE CASES OF EARLY STROKE AS COMPARED TO A CT!
kudos to the osmosis team…do make a video about Haemorrhagic stroke soon!:)

What are the CVA associated with only HTN and DM?

Thank you so much. very accurate and precise information is given in the video. I have a question, My father is suffering from stroke, his age is 61 years. it happened in 2011, he has the problem with speech, right side of the face, right arm and leg, He is gripping his right hand very tight just like a small baby. His blood pressure is always good around 120-80, he walks slow, he can’t control urine. Dr prescribed some medicines, which are Wellbutrin 150g, sinemet, kemadrin, ascord, tenormin 80g. He is very loved and kind. I Request everyone to pray for my father that he get healthy again just like he was before the stroke. And if someone knows how to treat this please tell me, because there are not very good doctors and hospitals where we are living. thank you.

not so much good as osmosis videos are

  32. Jeanine Gawthrope on December 8, 2019 at 4:57 pm

Please mention that stroke patients may not be able to communicate but can hear what you say. Be careful when talking to co-workers who are within earshot of a stroke patient.

Post Stroke depression, we simply can’t ignore it,
Counselling of patients and their attendents is super important.
    I appreciate ur efforts!

*For such a large subject, it should probably be either longer & more in depth or done as a Series Playlist. 6 minutes is just too littoe coverage*
