During my first year of college, a woman in my dorm had a stroke. She was 18. She weighed over 300 pounds. I wasn’t in the dorm when she had the stroke. Some people told me what happened. I never saw her again.

I also had a stroke when I was 19 at a gym session. It took me 5 years to recover and during that time I just wanted to die.

Wow. I can’t even find anyone or anything that compares to me so much. I also had a stroke 2 years ago, at 16 and I had 4 blood clots some in my left leg and some went into my heart because I also have a whole in my heart, but they travelled to my brain I was in the hospital for a month and a half, I couldn’t move my whole left side. My leg was easy to get back to normal but my arm and hand, it’s getting there but it’s defiantly still slow, my voice isn’t as normal as what it was.. but it sounds normal to other people. I worked at McDonald’s and I was getting ready for work, I was in the bathroom and then I fell, I didn’t even know why but I looked in the mirror and half of my face was droopy I couldn’t do anything with my left hand so I stumbled out of the bathroom and someone came in and they called the ambulance, after that I do not remember. But I also used to play rugby, volleyball and all of that fun stuff. And now I’m not even sure if I can have babies I know next week though, Thank the lord for everyone that was helping me though 🙂 I just wanted to share this because I thought our stroke was very much alike 🙂

This says something about our foods, intentions of others, medical Mal practice suggestion, real consequences now and later on families and their children. So sad what comes next when you expect good but cover up real cause and effects.

I’m reading all the comments and I don’t get it.. How’s that possible that lots of young kids have strokes? I mean, it’s usually associated to old people or people with bad habits (like smoking, high blood pressure or an unhealthy diet).
    It’s really alarming.

Ive had two major strokes effecting my left side
The Mayo says I have CNS vasculitis

  33. Frank Rodriguez on December 15, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Consider yourself lucky, the medical care conditions in third world countries like the one I live in isn’t at all as near as what you experienced. I had one at 25 and iña year later they had no 8dea of what it caused it, therefore chances are that I might have another one, hopefully I won’t. I’m taking medication to suposedly lower down the possibility but the trauma of the unkwon is always there.

I had an ischemic stroke one month ago and am making recovery. Doctors still can’t find out what the cause of my stroke even though they checked on me on CT, Holter ECG, blood tests, BP tests, ultrasound…
