Hi Katie, I had many of these and was even accused of taking drugs the first time it happened in a grocery store.. finally after several, and seeing a good cardiologist, he checked me for a PFO ( hole in my heart) where blood clots can slip through. I had one! After it was closed/patched, I never had any more TIAs. It was an ordeal! Also I am going to write to you on your video about gum recession.

Wow! I found your channel as I suspect I have Veds. I collapsed with tearing pain in my chest in 2011 and 2017. Ecg was normal but took me a year at least each time to feel better and get my heart rate down. In March 2020 I was reaching for something and had tearing pain in my head. After a week of being bedridden with migraines and blurry vision ER said stress and sent me home.
Had two more head incidents since.
Ive had skipped heartbeats for years, Dr said probably ectopic but they are really bad. Anyway, got covid mild then the week after I swear I could feel something going round my veins from arm to neck. My right side went numb and I briefly passed out. ER said mini stroke. Covid can cause clots so you never know. I took aspirin and went whole food vegan.
Before vegan I would have high bp and pulsing veins especially at night and in morning but am ok now.
Another random fact – dentist can no longer inject me with adrenaline. Last time my heart rate was so high for 10 mins they nearly called an ambulance.
My Dr is reluctant to send me for genetic testing. I live in the UK and NHS would have to pay so that’s probably why.
    Bug hugs. X

Thanks for sharing your experience with this disease!I’d recommend to watch Dr.Berg’s video about tia.

I remember you going through that ridiculous situation where they thought you had pots, when clearly it was a tia. Thanks for sharing this valuable information, it is seriously useful and veds needs the awareness

Ive been searching for months for anyone who has had a TIA you are the first that I have come across that has taken time to reply to comments. If you could email or call me. Ive been going to all different types of doctors for what seems like forever now. Im worried I might be having TIA’s and would like to talk to someone one who has a first hand experience or cam give any insight to my symptoms …
