Mini Strokes (TIAs): Don't Ignore Symptoms, Act FAST

We don’t get many second chances. This one could save your life. A TIA or transient ischemic stroke is a mini-stroke. Symptoms usually go away within twenty-four hours and you feel fine again. But if you don’t get to a stroke center or hospital fast, you risk a full-fledged stroke that can change your life forever. Don’t take that chance. Contact National Stroke Association at 1-800-STROKES, or visit and find out more about recognizing stroke symptoms fast.
Do it now. While there’s still time.

change your diet. reduce ur salt intake, exercise, quit smoking. REDUCE UR BLOOD PRESSURE… most likely you have High cholesterol… 1.see if your body have equal strength (shoulders/arms test), look in mirror at ur face to see if something is weird (drooping)

I suffered 3 T.I.A strokes in my sleep. All i remember was feeling like i was drunk and then lights out. My friend woke me up off the living room floor and asked me if i wanted to go to my room? I was awakened by my boss calling me to see why i was not in work, and i had told him it was sunday! It really changed my life. My class A license was revoked and i had to change jobs. If you have high B/P get it down NOW!!! Dont drink alcohol or eat fast food!!

My mother suddenly felt dizzy, her entire body went dead (she couldn’t move at all. She said that she didn’t see the room spinning but she felt that her brain moved inside her head. I had to sit her up because she couldn’t move. Then she started to throw up. She Threw up for like 2 or 3 hours without stopping. Her vision was blurry on one eye and she couldn’t walk normally (she just walked to one side like something was pulling her). Doctors did all kinds of test.
