Making sure minor stroke stays that way

Patients who have a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or a minor stroke have unique assessment and education needs. The Krembil Neuroscience Centre at the University Health Network saw the specific needs of this patient group and opened the TIA and Minor Stroke (TAMS) Unit at Toronto Western Hospital.

    Would you please tell me whether sudden confusion around names and not recognising words is a TIA (with no weakness or slurring of words), thanks

    Can you get further complications 2 years after your TIA’s ?
