    Would you ever consider taking cold pressed hemp seed oil for a while? Like 15 ml a day, to increase essential fatty acids and GLA. Wash it down with some juice tho its not the nicest

    Girlllll, I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’m on the candida diet right now to heal my gut and it’s so restrictive! In order to feel satisfied I’ve had to use my creative cooking ways. It’s only week 2 and I have so many things I want to try! Especially that bone broth you were talking about, but it’s so hard to buy all these products at once (so much $$). I’ve also had skin disorders, have low thyroid, low adrenals, anemia, asthma, allergies, low stomach acid and more… these are things I’ve dealt with and accumulated little symptoms here and there and I finally got to my tipping point.

    It’s so good to see you doing all these things to be even HEALTHIER than you were. It’s crazy though how sometimes it takes our body screaming at us (skin issues, fatigue, etc) in order for us to answer the call. <3

    I actually have found food combining really made a difference with my digestion, but I’m not super strict and I just use the basic rules that I found fit with my needs and what helped me the most.. like I don’t mix animal fats and plant fats, I eat non starchy veggies w meats, eat plant fats w starches or non starch veggies, fruit by itself. When I mix too many different types of foods together I get really nauseous. I’ve been eating healthy for most of my life and food combining is a relatively new thing for me, but helpful. My diet has been very close to AIP or AIP for many years. I still eat white rice, which is very gentle on my digestive system.

    When I make burgers I put a courgette in the blender first then add the meat and blitz it together. The courgette makes it lovely and moist! (I use 50% turkey and pork mince) x x
