Deb Owens: Giving Back After a Stroke Scare

Deb Owens is a neonatal nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia Medical Center. In the spring of 2015 she started showing signs of having a stroke. Deb is a young, active adult so she was surprised to learn she had suffered a carotid artery dissection, a fairly common sign of stroke in young people.
