far too much verbiage to get to the answers people seek with questions like this. Yes, there are complex factors in play, but simplifying the responses would help us stick around long enough to be satisfied.

My DNA is not my destiny!! I have been telling people this for years. If you eat the same unhealthy foods as your family…you will get the same illness. Healthy Greens, Berries, nuts.

    My Mother to me:
You are not going to suffer with the illnesses that your father and I do because you eat differently.
…. she was correct. I’ve been a vegetarian for over 30 years and have NO illnesses and take NO medications. 🙏🏾

Becomes the norm… Used to being big, used to being tired… Used to being told shining a light into the body could kill covid or that the most secure election ever was stolen. Yes we really do get used to taking rubbish into the body. Before you know it 1/2 mill dead from covid, society divided, overweight, high blood pressure, diabetes pandemic, drugs and alcohol pandemic, mass murder event pandemic. Then we wonder how we got where we got and still don’t appreciate how unhealthy the inputs are

I have a really hard time believing that coconut will spike your cholesterol enough to put your at risk for heart disease, or that you can compare that saturated fat to a processed hamburger. My mom eats coconut oil and olive oil everyday, mostly she cooks with it, shes 80 and very healthy. Ketoers use coconut oil like crazy, and they seem for the part pretty healthy. It would be interesting to see a study done on hard core ketogenic people, like when they get tests done what is that like. I do think doing a keto diet with huge amounts of meat is not healthy, as I"m a mostly plantbased person(I eat a little fish, but no dairy or eggs or other meat). The kind of omega 3 called DHA you can only from fish/fish oil/ or algae oil. Its not the same as getting it from nuts and seeds. They never address that. I wish we could eat cleaner fish without all the crap in the ocean. I do try algae oil, you have to have large amounts to equate to a piece of salmon.

Thank you so much Dr. Batiste for your information, in which I have been saying this same information all time to my family, and especially my husband, which believes that it’s all in genetics and family history which isn’t true! I will certainly share this video with him! God bless you!

I love cooking with coconut oil and was told it was better than olive oil. My test results told me differently. My cholesterol went up 40 points and LDH was high. I use it on my skin now.

  41. Joyce Taylor on April 16, 2021 at 12:25 am

If one needs some comfort food, they need to try making their own. Example: raw nuts or seeds stir-fried gently in coconut oil or avocado oil with spices and/or herbs added. Otherwise, educate oneself about added ingredients to prepared health foods then scrutinize the labels before buying.
