Great Video with good animation, plain and simple but to the point.
Simple, effective video. Didn’t realize stroke was the leading cause of disability in the US.
Great video! This is important information that everyone should know.
LOVE this. Thanks National Stroke Association!
One leg can also "give out" while standing, walking, or going up/down stairs as a sign of an impending CVA – while the arm on that same side isn’t affected/ showing any signs at that very moment.
If CVA (and any other underlying causes that are normally affiliated with a high risk of having a CVA…) is something that "runs in the family", the best preventative medicine is to eat as healthy as possible, and to stay active/in as good of a shape as you can – and of course, listen to what your body is trying to tell you.
