AHA volunteer speaks on fifth anniversary of healthcare law
Stroke survivor Amanda Jean Beaulieu spoke Tuesday on the steps of the Capitol as part of a news conference to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. Beaulieu, who had a stroke and pulmonary embolism in 2009, said that health insurance coverage changed her life.
