I had a stroke at the age of 27 October 2013. I have strength back in my left arm. The lack of dexterity in my left hand is my biggest challenge. Is it too late to recover function?

These are excellent options. With COVID19, I find that when I do home visits, I have to be creative and use what the patient and family have in their home. We don’t bring in any equipment for infection control, so need to be mindful of the low income of a lot of these stroke patients with our public health system. I agree that the focus is on functional tasks, repetition, and reminding the hand what it used to do with the help of the "good" arm. the flaccid arm is tough to work with and we teach patients to be careful not to injury it while it is "dead" for lack of a better term.. Your experience is so valued guys. Thanks for posting!
