Weekend walk to promote stroke awareness

According to the World Stroke Association, one in four adults will have a stroke in their lifetime. But keeping active can help decrease your risk.

And on Sunday 25th October, socially distanced teams kept busy. They walked 4km to the top of the Rock to further the message of Stroke Awareness.

At the walk was two time stroke sufferer, GBCs own John Shepherd. The rugby fraternity was also out in force; they were walking for Wes, a young player who suffered a stroke just a few weeks ago.
